Our charming riverside pub on Ferry Road in Hanham Mills, South Gloucestershire. We’re so lucky to call the scenic banks of the River Avon our home, offering breath taking views and a traditional British welcome to everyone who visits.
Perched right on the water’s edge, our pub boasts a stunning garden and terrace, perfect for soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the peaceful beauty of the river and countryside. Whether you’re stopping by for a leisurely drink, a hearty Sunday roast, or anything in between, we like to think of ourselves as your little haven for relaxation and unforgettable moments.
Love the outdoors? We’re perfectly placed near some fantastic walking routes. Take a peaceful stroll along the Hanham Lock and River Avon Walk, wander through the scenic Conham River Park Trail, or explore the beautiful Avon Valley Trail, just a few of the gems waiting for you to explore nearby.

Our carefully selected wine list is designed to complement every dish or be shared in the sun with friends. As the longer and warmer days, our Spritz menu is here to keep you cool with the fresh, seasonal flavours you crave—perfect after a riverside stroll. Not drinking? Not to worry. We have an excellent range of no and low alcohol options, including our 0% beer, Freedam, on tap, as well as wellness beverages including CBD and ashwaganha.

Is there a more charming way to arrive at a pub than along the river? Bristol Packet Boat Trips offer a full day out along the river. Setting off in Bristol, stopping off to us for lunch and drinks, before heading back with bellies and hearts full.
We highly recommend this experience as a way to spend those nicer days.

For us, Sunday roasts are sacred (in fact, we’d go as far as to say they’re probably the best in the world). Think succulent cuts of slow-roasted West-Country beef, larger-than-life Yorkies, and boatloads of the chef’s proper gravy.

We have plenty of fun to fill your weekends. Enjoy our large beer garden with river views and the brand new addition of our Burger Shack fully open for Easter weekend and beyond. Expect juicy-finger-lickin’ burgers, sharer trays for days and much more.
And, of course, top off your weekend by joining us for our Easter Roast on Sunday with all the trimmings and bottomless Yorkies (if you can fit them in!)
